BONJOUR! (inside joke hahaha!)
HAPPY NATIONAL DAY & HAPPY BIRTHDAY
SINGAPORE! Had a GREAT day today. Okay yst was national day celebrations for our school but we were allowed to wear ethnic costumes. Wore this baju (i think) & my stupid class forced me to model. The stage is so pathetic la, made up of those boxes used as shelves for drama productions. Haha I nearly tripped and everyone said I looked funny ):
Instead of the usual field of greens, it was nice to see everyone dressed up in diff ehtnic costumes. I think the class comp thing was rlly effective in making everyone (nearly) wear either costumes of red&white. Some of them looked really elegant in their cheongsams. Eg. Weiling! Whoa, her heels were so high tht she was nearly taller than me. HAHA. Kerri looked elegant too but her cheongsam was rather tight haha! Okay la, at least she still cld fit in! (lest she kills me :D)
Tk Idol was sadly, disappointing. Thr were only a couple who cld REALLY sing and the rest jst made up the numbers. Su was really great and I think she cld have won if she entered solo, like the 2e6 girl. (not saying her classmates were lousy but going solo wld rlly make her voice stand out!) The drama production was REALLY FUNNY THOUGH. Hahaha especially when the girl knocked over the mic, accidentally. She's such a good actress, acted in the tree thingy as beegee or what not. Hahaha, she reminds me of kumar! (not kash this time HAHA, inside joke)
Took hell lots pictures since it was sadly our last yr. Ive abt 200 over pictures from drama, racial harmony cum national day, class birthday & the mp library one. Hahaha and ive yet to receive more from Sheryl and Viv. My received files' gonna explode soon alright.
Watched Twelfth Night with Renee & Charmaine after celebrations. Feste was not what I thought he wld be. Instead he was this bald chum haha! I felt so much sympathy for Malvolio at the end when the entire household was looking at him and he said: "I'll be revenged."
how now malvolio? HAHA.
Woke up super early today for breakfast at Siglap! Went down to Junction 8 for lunch with Calvin and whoaaa, the place is like Afghanistan to me. I can probably walk ard Parkway blindfolded, but Junction 8's like so messy, give me a map and I might still get lost. Didnt have much to do thr though cause the shops were pretty boring. Ate malt candy and whoa, I think im going to die from diabetes soon. (mental note: stay away from excess glucose)
Waited SO LONG for the bus under the sweltering hot sun after realising we were at the wrong side of the road. ARGH, tht silly nitwit. I hate it when tht happens, reminds me of the last time I was with Rachel & we actually waited for 20 mins! GAHHHH.
Walked around Tangs so he cld look for his jeans. I cant believe he was the one doing the shopping instead. Im gonna save all my money up for year end, hoho. After walking for 20 mins or so, he decided not to buy cause the jeans he liked cost 300 bucks. Urgh, fussypot. (knowing him, i'll say he'll still get it)
Met Jo while crossing the road and I wanted to shout out to her but it wld be rather embarrassing if she didnt reply me. Haha. Walked over to FOSSIL to get his watch. He got this black strap leather watch with screen colours red & black. Niceeee. I was thinking a certain incident while in the shop which took place in Lit class last yr. HAHAHA. I was sitting next to Hwee when I noticed this pretty fossil watch on the table. Since Almaas(owner of the watch) wasnt ard, I put it on and started admiring it, at the same time imitating those tai-tais when they try on rings or bracelets. HAHAHA.
Both of us cldnt stop laughing until I realised Almaas was sitting behind me, looking at me in this awkward manner. HAHA! And I hardly knew her then. The worst thing was, the damn watch cldnt come out of my wrist till Almaas had to help me. HAHAHAHAHAHA! HWEE! I bet youre laughing like siao now. HAHAHAHAHA!
Okay went down to Esplanade to meet bestie & turned out Jo was heading thr too. Hahaha. Walked to the Singapore river to admire the pretty fireworks! (stupid girl thought we actually reached the KALLANG river) Walked ALL the way back to Esplanade and tht worked up my appetite.
We had oyster omelette, chicken rice, kaya toast fondue, roasted wings, two cans of drinks & fried rice. WHOAAA! You mst be thinking what voracious appetities we have. Hahaha. Went to Esplanade mall to buy COTTON CANDY. (more sugar!) It was so crowded and I hate walking in crowded areas, ugh. Nearly got lost cause the greedy monster RAN OFF for the cotton candy and left me in the crowd. Took the tour bus to Little India and it was so empty! Nick and company went up the bus and they didnt knw I was watching them from the camera. Haha. Teresa was rather AMAZED by the sights, so cute! :D A
certain spoiltbrat kept complaining abt how sleepy and tiring it was NONSTOP. TSKTSKTSK!
Laughed like crazy on the ride home abt the nails thingy. HAHA. Luckily I did the proper one FIRST, hahahaha! I had a rocking time today, thanks
